There's still the fact that Disney closed down Lucas Arts studio's and hired EA to make all their games.

why wouldn't they though? EA has the perfect platform in the Battlefield games to make a large multiplayer game for star wars. Make more sense to go to a licensing model. 20 million + copies sold for the EA franchise which isn't terrible by any means.

The statement, which was initially obtained by Game Informer and later released to Polygon, reads:

"After evaluating our position in the games market, we've decided to shift LucasArts from an internal development to a licensing model, minimizing the company's risk while achieving a broader portfolio of quality Star Wars games. As a result of this change, we've had layoffs across the organization. We are incredibly appreciative and proud of the talented teams who have been developing our new titles."
Polygon reached out to LucasArts for comment and was told that the shift to a licensing model means LucasArts will no longer be developing games internally. Instead, the studio will be handing game development to third party developers

To be fair, this is what Vader wanted to do at the end of ESB.

I wasn't judging, only comparing and only with the scenes in question.

you're leaving out that the emporer's whole end goal was to get Luke to kill Vader and complete his journey to the dark side.

Kylo killing Snoke was exactly that. Yes it was bitter, selfish and power hungry....because that's what the dark side is! Kylo killing Snoke was him completing his journey to the dark side and taking power as the supreme leader.

It seems like you're comparing Kylo's motives to the Emperor's, but we're comparing two scenes where apprentices kill their masters and Kylo's counterpart in the OT is Vader, not the Emperor. Kylo's motives in killing Snoke were completely opposite of Vader's motives in killing the Emperor.

More evidence of Star Wars brand damage, checking my email, EB Games Friday deals includes a bunch of old games for $5....the newest game on sale and the only current generation game in their flyer, Star Wars: Battlefront for PS4 is on sale for $5.00.

Unless im missing something that is Star Wars Battlefront, a game that is a few years old and has had a sequel come out. Why wouldn't it be 5 bucks? Why would someone buy it?
