The NHL has anointed PK Subban the face of the league in a pathetic attempt to appear more hip and cool. NBC has The PK Project (which is absolutely brutal), he's on the video game cover, he's already booked for next year's New Year's Day game, and the league would love him in the Final.

Some Bruins fans pull for the guy, as they believe him winning would be some sort of comeuppance to Habs fans. My enemy's enemy is my friend, I guess.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist who believes games are fixed; but I do believe certain players and teams get preferential treatment (Don Cherry even said last night the league adjusted the officiating in the Bruins' series as a result of the media outcry in Toronto).

Granted we only see PK Subban twice a year now and in far less stressful games; but he's the same player we all despised years ago, just in a different uniform.
