You know one of these days somebody in this league is going to lose it on Marchand and give him a taste of his own medicine. And my guess is he will find a sum total of zero people with any sympathy.

Zero people outside the Boston fan base. There, I suspect it would be 80-85% defending Marchand and the rest quasi-defending him while conceding "yeah, he's done some dirty shit in the past" but then arguing that it's no excuse for whatever happened to him.

Im less than optimistic about it. Barby is a smarter fore-checker and better defensively. I dont see how you can put Blais out their against their top line like we have been with Steen/Sunny. I see RoR's line given biggest share of defensive duties.

is it not insane that outside of that top line that nobody in that forward group was on the team last year? what a roster turnaround pushing for the cup...
