Wilson needs to evolve his game, instead of big hits he should just jump people like Krejci.

Wilson doesn't need to pick his spots.

If the league deems that it's okay to start punching non-fighters who still have their gloves on then Wilson should just give Marchand a taste of his own medicine.

No sound out of the DOPS, so I assume they are ok with Marchand here.

It was a fight when Eller eventually dropped his gloves. I never for one second thought he would be punished.

Next time hang onto your gloves Lars and just bum rush him and get him on the ice or smashed into the boards.

So, anyway - were the Bruins that bad, or are we like the Stanley Cup champs or something.

Yes - Tukka Rask was bad. Like the only NHL caliber goal he allowed was Ovie's. The rest were stoppable or grossly misplayed.
But the B's had very few scoring high-grade scoring chances, even though Djoos was on the top pairing, and Bowey was in w/Orpik. The structure, team D, and transition were ridiculously good - which is not stuff you can just chalk up to adrenaline from a banner-raising ceremony

Marchand will continue to be Marchand until the league decides to make an example of him as well. If they truly are in the mindset of player safety this year, I'd expect at least one long suspension from Marchand given his stupid antics. Guy has always been a little *******
They don’t give a shit about player safety. Schnoze was trying to rip off the helmet and feeding punches before he was even heads up with Eller. Sounds like really dumb actions by someone that has been suspended and fined close to 10 times now but he won’t hear shit from DoPS.

Maybe next time use that energy to stop the other team from scoring a goal or 5.

Tonite is a huge litmus test, already. Roadie part of a B2B, against the hated Pens, as their home opener.

I wouldnt expect a win, but sure would be nice to play well and not get skated out of the building (as we just did to the Bruins)

I thought the Carlson goal was a pretty legit goal too. Tuuka was pretty shaky in this game.
