Anyways, MSL or Giroux were the picks from my perspective: Giroux has been hot fire lately, is a right shot so slots in the RW spot pretty well. MSL is probably the craftiest little ripper around so I agree with the pick. Not sure where he will play though...could be first line with crosby all the way down to 13th forward..total crapshoot.

Has that actually been decided? I heard talk of that but I never heard they definitely said NHL players wouldn't take part in the future.

It sounds like 2018 is highly unlikely, but then people were saying the same thing about 2014 so who knows.

I wonder if MSL being in the backup spot influenced Stamkos being "injured". I'm pretty sure he could have talked the doctors into giving the leg an "f".
