If that's what they wanted to do, they should've facilitated them moving up somewhere.

And why hasn't the same fate befalls Wisconsin-Whitewater?

Because while they're really good, they don't dominate the WIAC. They were the best football team this year but were behind Oshkosh and La Crosse and tied with Platteville in 2017. They only made it to the quarterfinals in football in 2016 while Oshkosh made the championship game, they came in 2nd place in 2015, beat Oshkosh by 1 game in 2014, beat Platteville by 1 game in 2013 and came in 3rd place in 2012.

They came in 2nd to Stevens Point in baseball in 2011, 2nd to La Crosse in 2012, then won 3 straight years before La Crosse ran away with the title in 2016 and they've won it again the last 3 years but only by a couple games the last 2.

In 2010-11 they came in 3rd in basketball behind Stevens Point and River Falls, beat Stevens Point and River Falls by a game in 2011-12, came in 2nd to Stevens Point in 2012-13 and 2013-14, tied with Stevens Point in 2014-15, tied for 5th with Stevens Point in 2015-16 and were behind La Crosse, Oshkosh, Eau Claire and River Falls, behind River Falls in 2016-17 and tied with Oshkosh, behind Platteville, Stevens Point, Oshkosh and River Falls in 2017-18 and were behind Oshkosh, La Crosse, Stevens Point, Platteville and Eau Claire this year.
