In December, Thorburn laughed when asked whether the money pictures posted to Instagram are a good representation of who Evander Kane is. “No, that’s not who Kaner is,†he said. “He’s a very caring guy, a good friend to have. Evander Kane

Have been watching quite a few videos on him tonight and have to say he might have one of the best wrist shots that have ever been on the Sabres. He has game breaking speed and is a finisher, something this team sorely lacks. He just needs a great playmaking center and he will pot 40 IMO.

He is the best forward we have had since at least Briere. Way more versatile than a guy like Vanek
