My grandparents watched it and I would watch it with them in the earlier seasons when I lived with them still. It was pretty awkward during the random sex scenes and scenes at the Bada Bing haha.

I'm old enough that I saw a couple in person by the time The Sopranos were on.

I think my introduction to them was actually in Slapshot, funnily enough. The scene where Paul Newman is laying in bed with the woman for 5 minutes with her boobs exposed, which was one of those pointless filler ''This movie is already rated R for language and violence, so let's just throw in a random and extended topless scene'' add on's.

Years later when I watched that movie with my then-girlfriend (who was very stacked herself, but very insecure), I had to hear about it for the next 20 minutes after that scene. ''You liked her boobs more than mine!''. I don't know if I wasn't paying enough attention to her that week or what. I tried to reassure her by telling her that she's gonna see a dude strip to his undies if she sticks around until the end of the movie.
