To me, I'd say the Jets give up a lot of rebounds because they give up a lot of shots, not because they're particularly bad at preventing shots from turning into rebounds. It's hard to reconcile that with whatever Maurice was referencing though. To me, the data speaks for itself if it's correct and the video seems to suggest that it is: the Jets are nothing special at preventing rebounds and a lot of them have ended up in the net this year.

If/when the Hockey Gods do come for the Jets' penalty kill or they run into a team that generates a lot of rebounds at 4-on-5 (say for example, Minnesota), it could be trouble for the Jets.
