They even had Breezango do the cold reads for Old Spice. Flair did this for KFC. Feels like they got some more trust.

However seeing the Surf Dudes with Attitude/Danger zone, continually going through gimmicks and never getting in the ring would be funny.

Plus the Banker finding weirder and weirder wrestlers would be fun. And a opponent for Desparado.

I mean we know how this ends, with the death of Southpaw due to the mistaken Lethal Leap year.

I guess the one thing that's out of bounds is that every 80's independent had a racist or nazi character.

There is plenty of time to squeeze in between this and Leap Year, and honestly you could do one after that. Just retcon it so that the company did fold right then and there.
