Are you saying Crosby/Malkin should leave the Pens now that their run is over? The Coyotes will win the cup before the Pens do:)
Would you care to make a wager on that? Do you really think the Yotes, a team that hasn’t sniffed the playoffs in a league of such parity since 2011-2012, wins a cup before the Penguins?

The Pens will definitely be pretty crappy again once Sid and Geno slow down but their window is still several seasons.

The Yotes need to work on not being the worst team in the western conference before thinking about winning a cup.

The Yotes missed a playoff spot by four points in 2013 and two points in 2014. So we've been in our current state in the league basement for about four seasons - something that has been easily eclipsed by many other teams, including your Penguins. And it doesn't take all that much for fortunes to significantly reverse in the positive - just ask Colorado.

You probably should learn to Google this shit before spouting easily refutable nonsense.

Congrats on almost making the playoffs in a league where more teams make the playoffs than teams that don’t?

My point is any team has a chance and the Pens can easily fade just like the Hawks/Kings before them. Oilers and Hawks went from 100+ points to the 70's this year. That could be the Pens this year. It doesn't matter what a team did last year or the last 5 years, not in todays NHL, look at Vegas this year. Pens aren't getting any younger, they could miss the playoffs next year. Coyotes are on the upswing now.
