Sony releasing PS1 Classic in time for Christmas

If it was the only glaring thing missing, I think you would be onto something, but the selection of the PS Classic is so bad and confusing that I'm not sure conclusions can be drawn about why specific games were excluded either way, personally.

I added a few more other huge exclusions in the second paragraph, but yeah, it's just a random hunch that I'm going off of. It's the only logical thing I could think of as to why they'd leave off such a wide array of top-notch titles. Just trying to make sense of the senseless fact that they excluded so many console-defining games.

The fact of the matter might just be that Sony is very disconnected from their player-base and what the players actually wanted from this "Console".
