So we've had River songs, train songs, morning songs so I think it time for a
thread about named geographic locations*, but I think that anthems might be
a bit too political for the entertainment section of the forum so no anthems.

*countries, provinces, regions, cities and etc.

Also try to write artist and song title above/below the video to make it easier to
use the thread search function to search for already posted videos.

I'll post a few to get us going.

The Pogues - Lullaby Of London

John Denver - Country roads

Sabaton - Blood of Bannockburn

Strawberry Fields Forever & Penny Lane by The Beatles come to mind immediately.

Of course so do The Tragically Hip...

Wes Dakus & The Rebels - Las Vegas Scene

Wes Dakus recorded in New Mexico when there too few recording studios in Edmonton. They hoped to make it big in the US but they only got onto the Canadian charts with this tune.

I thought we were done with these
I like them. They introduce me to some good songs that I never heard of and they refresh my memory about some good songs that I have almost forgotten. What's not to like? If the thread doesn't strike your fancy, you can always ignore it. Seems a simple enough thing to do.
