Le journal de Montreal said that the WHA has a rule where players 16 years old and over can be drafted, and that they would draft Sidney Crosby. The draft is to be held the eleventh of July, which means they will also draft the remaining players from the NHL draft. Has anyone else heard about this?

It's players who will be seventeen next year. The team who will choose Crosby will loose their pick because Pat Brisson told in interview some weeks ago that he will be back next year and that he will not go to the WHA

Wouldn't they draft players regardless of whether they had been already been NHL drafted based on ability/signability?
