Yeah, we pretty clearly have differing tastes.

I just know my feet would hurt so much wearing those no-support shoes.

When I searched Common Projects, Barney's was the first or second result.

it's not so bad, honestly. it doesn't have trainer cushion, but since it's all leather, it ends up molding to your foot as you break them in. they get softer the more you wear them.

CP is definitely the luxury brand and you're paying for the name. IMO having owned both Greats and CP's, there's little difference. The CP's are a little softer to start. My Greats have lasted longer though, and wouldn't hesitate to pay $170 for another pair. They regularly (like quarterly) have sales that drop the Royale down to the $120 mark or so. 100% worth it.

@Roman Fell Adidas has a lot of shoes on sale.

Cloudfoam Advantage in White for $33 - link

I-5923, which I own a pair of, for $65 - link

Stan Smiths for $40 - link

Velcro Stan Smiths, which you probably prefer - link

They have some Ultra Boosts on sale, but the prices are still pretty high.

No idea what your size is, but there are quite a few shoes to be had for under $60. There's also a promo code: SOUTHSHORE15 Check it out.

When did clown shoes become so popular? :dunno:

kind of an aggressive and slightly offensive way to approach your opinion, don't you think?

i would never look at your stuff and just flat out call you a clown or ugly. that's my taste and you definitely don't have to be so negative towards something you probably don't even care about.

I wasn't attacking your choice of professions, just inquiring after the prevailing fashion tastes of modern consumers.

I'd rather wear shoes that feel comfortable to me, regardless of what's popular, even though I have a few exceptions:

- Some Walmart shoe brands are questionable to me (especially when it comes to the insoles)
- I can get a good quality pair of shoes for under $50-60 (on sale only)
- I'll never spend over $100 on a pair of shoes
- Good Insoles = Comfort

I still appreciate that stanley calls them "Sneakers" and not tennis shoes or some stupid shit like that.
