Surprised nobody has posted anything about Alex Kupka's scary injury back in September.
Blizzard hockey player recovering from broken C2 vertebrae | Grand Forks Herald

Guys, lets help him and spread the word among the hockey community. Unfortunately, his medical insurance does not cover all the cost for his recovery. His family would be grateful for any donation to reach $25,000 goal. I hope it's not against the rules to post here the link to his donation page.

I really think Martin Fasko Rudas is going to have a break through year and hover around PPG in whl. He’s been improving every year.

Yeah, he started well. Interesting player for WJC team. But as a break through year there is (are) stronger candidates:

- Oliver Okuliar in WHL, currently top goalscorer in WHL and second in points
- Samuel Hlavaj, leading goalie in QMJHL

Does anyone have info about these two players. They are both 2006 born kids currently destroying the u16 league. Yes yes Slovak u16 league isn’t very strong, but at the same age Filip Mesar who we all regard as a good prospect had 49 pts in 41 games.

Common, this young 13 years old boys have time to be evaluated. You must look, where they play.

It is a Group D in Slovak U16 league. There are few lets say good teams and some very very bad teams. Lets look to the results of HC Kosice:

HC Košice3 - 2HK ŠKP Poprad
HK Mládež Michalovce1 - 11HC Košice
LIBA ACADEMY 11 Košice2 - 4HC Košice
MŠKM Tebišov3 - 14HC Košice
HC Košice25 - 1HC Bulls Vranov
Mládež HC 46 Bardejov0 - 19HC Košice
HC Košice4 - 1HK Spišská Nová Ves
Prešov Penguins1 - 5HC Košice
HK ŠKP Poprad5 - 2HC Košice
HC Košice5 - 1HK Mládež Michalovce
HC Košice4 - 2LIBA ACADEMY 11 Košice
HC Košice11 - 0MŠKM Tebišov
HC Bulls Vranov0 - 35HC Košice
HC Košice19 - 0Mládež HC 46 Bardejov

As you can see, with results like 35 (!) : 0 there is room to collect many many points. Close look to this game: Faith had only 12 points. Shots 111 : 4. Yes you read it right 111 : 4.
Again, lets wait at least 2 seasons, until they are in U18 league.

He has good hands. Anyway, was there really so dark? Or it is somehow affected by camera?
I don't know why it's darker, it's shared from YT. The videos of the Slovak and Czech youthprospects
from european leagues/SWE, SUI, CZE, FIN/ are difficult to find, it is not enough.

Really interesting just looking at player stats and how badly some 19 year old players perform in our u20 league and they are selected for WJC team. For example Adam Pauliny has 5 pts in 9 games as a 19 year old, other players selected are simply 1 ppg. Meanwhile we have multiple 15 year olds at the same pace or our pacing them.

I heard some praise today for Juraj Slafkovsky. He is 15, and draft eligible in 2022. He has been one of the better U18 players in Finland this season, collecting 43 points in 31 games. The team moved him up today to play for the TPS U20 team. He played on the third line,

He got his first point in his first game tonight, skating end-to-end and feeding his teamate with an easy tap-in goal.

I was doubting about his potential inclusion in u18 team for April, there is no question now that he should be there
