A puck will never go off of Slava in our our goal in a Stanley Cup Final game ever again.

can Doughty handle another 30min/game season for 82 games?

that's my main concern right now once we realize that everyone else on D sucks lol

the real question is, how many first rounders will Deaner trade away for a defenseman at next years trade deadline?

I'm pretty disappointed, I felt Voynov had paid his debt to society by doing his jail time and could have gone through counciling to right himself and his relationship with his wife. I know he 'chose' to return to Russia, but in reality he was forced to leave, which seems excessive for a first time offender.

Best of luck in Russia Slava, keep off the juice.

Thank god Muzzin developed into a good young D. Without him we'd be up **** creek. Martinez is never going to carry a top four load.

Way you go Slava and dont look back! LA Kings managers and owners are cowards and hypocrites. They never supported you when you needed it.

Just wow.

I thought this may end this way and that's why I was really hoping Sekera
would sign. Going to miss a high tempo, highly skilled, good skating defenseman
that could play 22 minutes. Voynov was that guy and Sekera in a way, replaced him.
(albeit left handed) Now, there's no one on that slot.

With prospects such as Forbort, Lintuniemi, Cernak, Gravel, and Leslie, which
all have decent upside, none of them have the dynamic of having the type
of game Voynov and Sekera had. Do not want to limit the projections of any
of those prospects...Muzzin exceeded most anyone's projection. Hope a few of
these can as well. So I'm thinking, gotta draft a dynamic, offensive defensemen
with our first round pick in 2016. Oops, don't have it. I wish Sekera signed.
Ehrhoff better step up his game and be better than he was last year.

Slava? Not sure what to say...so won't say anything at this time.

Well... best of luck to Voynov and his family. I can only hope they get the help and support they need to live a healthy, abuse free life.

I'm pretty angry with how a lot of it has played out, but now at least everybody can move forward.

Brisbane,
He was so good at hockey, that I'm so torn in the situation. Reality is he raised his hands in violence against someone he loves. What kind of person does that? Not someone I want my kids to admire that's for sure. With that, the right decision was made
