I wouldn't support it.

But he would help our D a lot, and I cheer for probably the least 'woke' team in the NHL (from a pure PR standpoint, anyway), so I wouldn't be shocked if they kicked the tires.

I'd be ok with him on a short leash, partially because he'd fill a big need for my team. I haven't followed the story that closely to see if he has any remorse or if he's tried to rehabilitate, wouldn't want him if he was genuinely not sorry

His actions where absolutely disgusting and gruesome, I am forgiving if someone has actually changed but if he falls suit to the same actions(or even the possibility that he has) than hell no, the guy shouldn’t be in the NHL but rather prison. If he’s actually changed than yes though as he would be a great match.

chill out. he only had 1 action, not multiple, and it happened in the heat of the moment. quite a ridiculous statement. also, how are you going to know if he has actually changed?

Yeah. Sometimes people make bad mistakes and I do not believe they should be forever condomed by them.

Police say Slava Voynov kicked, choked and pushed wife

Some 'mistakes' are worse than others.

Nobody is saying Voynov should never be allowed to play hockey again. But playing hockey in the NHL specifically is not a right. He can play in Russia, he can play in Europe, there are any number of places he can continue to ply his trade, outside the country where he demonstrated a profound lack of respect and empathy for another human being.

depends on whether a team values morals or winning more i guess. I wouldn't be upset if the oilers signed him but at the same time i don't want the NHL to go the way of the NFL having people like Joe Mixon have football careers.

For once, it's a good thing that the Sens don't spend.

I have no doubt in my mind this team would overlook the elephant in the room and sign him if they were able to.

are we watching the same video?

Joe Mixon is about to leave
girl shoves Joe Mixon
girl slaps Joe Mixon
girl gets punched by Joe Mixon

lmao don't try to be edgy. It's okay for a a guy to defend himself but when you are a 6'1 238lb man that is clearly overkill and not acceptable.

I'm not being edgy.
I'm very much a keep your hands to yourself type of person. She didn't keep her hands to herself. Just because she's a woman doesn't mean she can go around shoving people and slapping people with impunity.

Is manslaughter a forgivable offense? Because MacTavish is still employed within the NHL.

The NHL also has no problem whatsoever using Bobby Hull, the king of domestic abusers, as an ambassador for the game.

I think you'll find yourself on your own in the given scenario buds.

Yeah, but society has thankfully changed, and those kinds of decisions are going to be more scrutinized.

I'd happy escort Bobby Hull to the nearest dumpster, for the record. Nazi-sympathizing, wife-beating piece of ****.
