This deserves its own thread.

He’s been with the Carolina Hurricanes’ franchise since 1972. Now he plans to retire.

Chip is the last connection to 1972. He worked from the first season of the New England Whalers, through the transition from WHA to NHL, through the relocation, through the Stanley Cup. through the dark ages, all the way to today. And ALL of the ups and downs in between.
