Dreger: Skinner a Plan B for teams that miss out on Tavares?

Signing an UFA is always easier or at least, preferable, than arranging or orchestrating a trade so plan A around July 1st is always 'see, if we can entice Player A to sign with us' than trading assets away.

To me if you place skinner at center instead of a winger he is at best a third line center, possible 4th line. He definetly needs to work on his defense. There is to much defensive responsibility at that position. I don't think he is capable of handling that spot
