Alright guys, so heres the issue,
Never played hockey before but have casually skated most of my life (im 19) and now I've started going to shinny and signing up for a summer league. Before I was never able to stop properly, and then I was able to stop on my left leg after some work, but for the past 2 months easily Ive been trying to stop on my right leg and I can't, and when I skate my right leg feels so incredibly weak.
I've tried to doing things on ice to try to strengthen my right leg at stick and pucks, but it hasn't done anything to help at all really.
So my friends, any suggestions for things you guys have done on ice or off ice to help stregthen a leg for stopping and overall balance?
thanks
