Not surprised, best of luck to him
Center depth that will likely stay with the Marlies for the season. Just giving Barabanov a shot somewhere to play.
Kyle giving him a chance elsewhere. Good on Kyle again
We drop a roster player.
Good luck to Barabanov but Suomela is a better depth option for a Leafs team that can easily turn to Petan instead of Barabanov. I'd turn to Suomela before Brooks so there is an upgrade there.
choppy short strides ... small guy not helping out in playoffs ... can't move fast enough ... best to help him out cause he can't help us out ... but give Dubie credit he tried both guys and set them both free once everyone knew they were not gonna help out
Make room for Robertson
Noesen and Suomela played on the same line, and both scored goals on Campbell! 2 points each.

Pretty good that Barabanov is the only "subtraction" from the roster. Realistically, we know he was quite far from being a regular in this lineup.
Can't be a good look for future top Europeans seeing both Lehtonen and Barabanov hardly getting an opportunity in Toronto. Although Mikheyev has succeeded.
Best of luck to Bara.
It's actually a great look and makes Toronto more attractive in the future. It shows that if you don't have a window of opportunity in Toronto, the team is willing to move you to give you a shot in the NHL.
Much more attractive than being buried on the farm team/bench/taxi squad
Leafs 2 X UFA European signings produced a grand total of 4 assists combined in Leaf uniforms.
No matter how successful these previously undrafted players are in the KHL it not often translate to NHLers.
Campbell is definitely going to congratulate him properly for that goal.
MFW when we traded a short Russian for a slightly taller Finn
Of course somehow Marincin is on this gif.
Makes sense to swap winger depth for centre depth.
Marincin is actually the second longest tenured Leaf on the roster. That’s honestly impressive.
Goal prevention is his name. Looking on is his game.
I’ll always remember his only point, where he deftly used the opposing player’s skate to deflect to his team mate. See you for the banner ceremony one day.
I feel like whenever I search up a player we bring in they always have a video of them scoring on us.
That goal on Campbell was cringe worthy bad.
Suomela also assisted on current Leaf Stefan Noesen's 3rd period goal
