Now that it's just the Ducks/Kings/Caps remaining....I think only the Ducks get swept.

Sharks win 4-0
Knights win 4-1
Caps win 4-3

Who would've guessed that at this stage the Knights and Sharks (and potentially the Jackets) would be the teams up 3-0 on their opponents.

I think the Kings win tonight. Anaheim I feel is almost certainly swept. I do think Washington wins one in Columbus but it may not be tonight. I could see them losing this one and winning game 4

The Ducks seem to be behind the eight ball heavily with the Sharks. I can't se them suddenly figuring them out.

The ducks getting swept while the Avs give the president’s Trophy winners a serious scare...at least in Denver...would be simply delicious after the shit Anaheim fans were talking at the end of the regular season :naughty:

Huh, neat factoid. Well, I guess the trap guaranteed at least one 1:0 victory in a series then.

I love this.

The Devils went to the Final five times, in 1995, 2000, 2001, 2003, and 2012.

In ALL of the games played in those five runs, the Devils won only five games by that score. It was in those same five runs that they combined for something like 36 games with four or more goals.

But hey, I get the trap is incredibly boring when it's your team getting stripped at center ice and having it wind up in the back of your net.

How many people lost sleep because the Leafs won?

Be honest. I bet it's at least 40% of you.

Up 3-0 on a California team? we been here before...

although in that series the Kings massively outplayed San Jose after Vlasic's injury. San Jose hung on for Game 2 and stole game 3 before losing 4 in a row.

If the Caps lose tonight, they are toast in game 4. This is a mentally weak team. They will be checking their phones in Game 4 confirming their tee times if they lose game 3.

so let's say SJ and Vegas sweeps their series. with them being in the same bracket leg, will that series start early or are the 2nd round dates already set in stone?

I have a hard time believing that the Kings or Ducks will win a game, they've been thoroughly outplayed for a majority of their respective series.

I don't really see it.. :sarcasm:

Honestly, I feel the Ducks are the most likely to be swept as they play the elimination game in San Jose and they can't score. 3-12 in scoring , 0 - 3 in games. Doesn't look good for them.
I think the Kings still have another gear, if it kicks in they win game 4.

Oops, didn't even notice this screw up of mine! Ducks are not in great shape in this series.

Crazy that the Caps are in 2 OT right now, battling not to be down 3-0 and join the possibly swept group.
