    Oh Canada
    Our home and native land
    True patriot love
    And all thy sons command

    With glowing hearts
    We see thee rise
The true north strong and free

    From far and wide
    Oh Canada
We stand on guard for thee

    God keep our land
    Glorious and free

    Oh Canada
We stand on guard for thee
    Oh Canada
We stand on guard for thee

As long as Canada's team (The Habs) make it that's all that matters...

Montreal in general is far away from Canada's team

Canada's team is Team Canada in international events.

Great to see so much success for the Canadian teams. You're going to hear some crap about how 'unsustainable' it is for some teams, but each of them has enough talent that if the will is there, it can happen.

The talent on the Canadian teams combined is something that we havent seen since the 80's in Alberta/Montreal/Winnipeg

So far so good. I do think Montreal and Vancouver should miss. Vancouver could use one more draft lottery pick, while Montreal needs a few more. Ottawa should also miss, because their owner does not deserve the additional revenue.

I still don't get why it matters to a leafs fan if the oilers make the playoffs...

Outside of the bruins I generally pick teams based on players I like on that team not location...

Isn't American Thanksgiving the cutoff mark people usually give as far as best chance of making the playoffs? Let's come back to this in a couple weeks.

I mean depends how you rank it. Leafs probably have the most favourite team votes in Canada but they also probably have the most least favourite team votes. In an NHL award type voting system where you get points based on where you were ranked for favouritism they probably wouldn’t do as well as you think

It's funny how three of Canada's NHL teams have team names that are synonymous with a Canadian citizen or a Canadian symbol.

In all seriousness. Why would Canada have a “team” when we all hate each other more than any American team lol

Not like there’s an America’s Team.

Or maybe the whole concept is dumb and it's obvious "Canada's team" isn't even a thing outside of international competition.

Exactly. Well, except for the Dallas Cowboys.
