AHL Contract is fine. We have almost no D to develop in Laval next season. The Czech D's apparently have out clauses if I'm remembering correctly. Apparently Schlemko and Benn were being shopped so maybe it's safe to assume Mete and Juulsen will start in Montreal.

We need players who want to play for this organization, be they in the NHL or AHL, I say yes. He has a lot of NHL experience and would be a good player/mentor for the younger guys. Still only 27 years old. Laval sucks anyways, what we got to lose?

Meh, the team does need a couple vets, him and Taormina could help anchor the defense. They need to be smart this time though, don't sign so many that you have to sit people out every game because of the vet rule.
