Guessing with EK65 still out, Sharks will also call up a healthy D (on an emergency basis) for depth.

Agree, definitely looks more knee than ankle. Hopefully it looks worse than it actually is, but it looks like an MCL injury.

Torn acls don't seem to happen much in hockey but the Sharks possibly have a player tear the acl for the 3rd straight year. The Sharks are usually one of the healthiest teams but when they do get injuries it's usually to key players(Vlasic,Hertl,Jumbo,EK65) and it's pretty serious. Meanwhile Melker and Braun are indestructible.

Means it’s probably not a fracture. Ligament damage still possible. Hopefully just a knee sprain. Good sign indeed
