Proposal: Silly 3-way trade that will never happen

CBJ gets: Turris + Stone (signed to ext.)

OTT gets: Tolvanen + Fiala + CBJ 1st + NSH 1st + Wennberg/other roster player or prospect (Smith, Hartman, Fabbro, Abramov, etc.)

NSH gets: Panarin (rental) + Duchene (signed to ext.)

Initial thoughts are that OTT may demand more and that Nashville would not gut the roster this much. But, a fun idea.

Nashville trades Turris + Tolvanen + Fiala + 1st for Duchene and a rental in Panarin (will not sign there).

Nashville is overpaying.

As a CBJ fan I love this. Stone is the best non-rental in this deal and he ends up in Columbus. It only cost Panarin (will not re-sign), 1st Round Pick, Wennberg.

You could switch Fiala to a player like Bjorkstrand or even Jenner from CBJ to make it a little closer.

Take out Tolvanen and replace with a good young jackets player or prospect like Foudy and this is not bad

Pretty sure the Jackets should be the ones providing a top-flight prospect rather than the Preds in this scenario. Otherwise, sure.
