Should the Jets hire Jonathan Tortorella to help increase effort and physical play?

Yes. He did an absolutely wonderful job in Columbus.

With exactly 1 playoff series win in his entire tenure with the BJ’s I’m not sure why he wouldn’t be #1 on their list.

We already had Tortorella behind the bench in Winnipeg. Didn't work.

Seriously what’s with people saying Jonathan Tortorella? Are his parents on here or something?

But no, they shouldn’t. Especially not if they want to keep PLD happy.

Torts would be good, but I bet that he would love good old Blake Wheeler and same problems would endure.

Buyout Wheeler and then hire Torts. Who cares what a flop Dubois thinks.

Other than Wheeler who would be gone from our currant core?

wheeler is a significant piece. Besides that considering how long the jets core has been together its my opinion that if the next 2-3 years are unsuccessful (where a significant stride has not been made) the core will be changed. If you have that short of a clock left then imo Torts is the way to go because he has that short of a clock as a coach before he needs to go lol

I think Torts should be taking a year or two off. I think that would be good for everyone - players, teams, and the league.
