Should Pittsburgh just sell everyone at this point?

It’s not going to be too hard for PIT to finish last either.

It's not only not what happens in the NFL as opposed to the NHL, but it's not how NFL teams think. They think they're going to turn it around, and they're the Steelers, they more often than not keep treading water and figure out how to get in the playoffs and have been in like 1 out of every 3 AFC Championship games ever, so as an organization they owe themselves the latitude to feel they'll turn it around. A big caveat is that they'd managed to not win some games this year whereas they've looked bad win games they've won before.

In all though, it's just not what the Steelers do and their track record is such that they shouldn't have to feel compelled to deviate from it.

Yeah, there's a reason why most trades involve any draft picks.

That Div is suddenly very interesting. Bmore probably wins it by the looks today.
Browns are no question on the rise and no longer an instant bye week.

I say today because that can change tomorrow.

    Steelers need a kicker badly.

Idiot has missed 3 extra points this season already. How is that even possible?????

Not going anywhere with a kicker like this.

Boswell has been great for awhile, but this start is concerning. Right after he signed a big deal, too.

Steelers are now leading the division based on winning %, without even playing.

Cinci on a good day vs Steelers on a bad day.... Cinci MIGHT win. With Dalton at QB and Burfict on the field the Steelers always have a chance.

Steelers tend to pick up their game in the 2nd half of the season. They should be in playoff contention from here on out.

Also, Steelers have moved from 3rd to 1st in the division during their bye.

Steelers are 6-0 since this thread was started.

That's why they don't do this

    Definitely should've traded Bell though.

They still can if they use the transition tag.

Pitt isn’t going to match a transition tag offer.

Might want to replace Pittsburgh with Jacksonville in the title.

The salary is going to be way too high and with Conners emergence, they can survive without Bell.

They also don't get the compensatory pick in 2020 if they use the transition tag.

Might not be a bad idea tbh if the Brown stuff amounts to anything.

Ben is becoming a handful. Will he retire, won't he? He gets pissed when young QBs get compared to him. He caued a rift after the Denver game saying hes earned the right to call peoplw out, sure, but this comes at the same time where the same game he called the game ending horrible INT a fluke. He definitely played a hand in that loss. Is he good? Sure. Is his heart still in it or has he become a narcissistic elitist? Tough to answer. Too much ego on that team and no real leadership. Tomlin does nothing as far as leadership goes to stoop the circus, he actually adds to it. I know the patriots are in the playoffs but these two are trending in the same way going forward. Aging QB on its last legs, division starting to get competent, possibly new coaches. The pressure may be setting in that this core let this time mostly slip away.
