It's such a short question it even fits in the title.
The team, league or player? Or the PA perhaps? Anyone know?

Team pays for player, GM. Agent pays his own way. PA pays for their personnel. (NHL personnel are nominally local.)

THey are all millionaires, so it's like asking who's paying for coffee at the office meeting?

Well the average NHL salary is $2.4 million. Assuming say a $1500 flight. That'd be the equivalent of someone making $50k spending 4 bucks. So more like a Starbucks than paying for coffee for the whole meeting.

The NHL should buy the ticket, then as additional punishment for a guy who gets a 5 game suspension, book the worst flight (multiple connections, long layovers, and a bad seat) home. That would be like adding an extra game.

Factor in a lesser wage for a player like John Scott, the cut his agent takes, how much he losses in his taxes, how much he pays in escrow and you're looking at LEAST 50 dollars relatively! :D
