I assume the first season is only the 6 episodes? Binged all 6 today.

Was pretty entertaining. Not Letterkenny but definitely in the same style. Some repetitiveness but I thought the surrounding cast was good. Of course the hockey theme made it fun and it had a good storyline to follow all season.

Didn’t think I could detach keeso from Wayne but he did a good job with Shorsey as the main character.

2 episodes in and its amusing. a bit predictable and repetitive, but it will help pass the time between seasons of Letterkenny.

I thought it was okay. Pacing was too slow for a comedy. The show also needs a 4th main character to drive the story alongside Shoresy, Nat & Sanguinet. Maybe Michaels can become that guy, but not if he just stays he punching bag.

I liked it overall, but by episodes 5-6 it started to feel a bit repetitive. It's probably a good thing they keep these seasons short

I agree. This kind of rapid fire joke delivery with absurd characters isn't well suited to binge watching the way more serious dramas are.

Even if the individual punchlines are original the formula and timing gets predictable fast.

Seems like they are stuck between trying to build a legit storyline rather than rely on random events every episode, which is unlike Letterkenny. They linked some events in order but a lot of episodes there are random topics which opens he door for new jokes.

Shoresy seems like it's tunnel visioned in its storyline. I think there's potential to build it out but they need more characters and different storylines to help build more depth.

What did you guys expect out of a show centered around Shoresy?

It was fine and enjoyable, plenty of laughs and a story to follow. I don't need shocking surprises and unpredictability, thank God, as that seems exhausting to complain about all the time.

I binged it last night after my daughter went down.

It was fine. Pretty good. Wasn't quite as funny as I was hoping vis a vis Letterkenny. Also I feel like Kelso does his shows a disservice by having to be the coolest character on the show.

Was a slower burn than I was expecting. The Jims ended up being pretty reminiscent of the guys on the Senior Hockey Team in Letterkenny.

It was aggressively fine.

About what I expected. Keeso really carried it. Do like me some quirky Canadian sketch comedy. Respect the production on what's obviously a limited budget too.

Love Shoresy interrupting "Huh?!" every scene. If you've ever hung out with any junior hockey superstuds in their own minds types that is perfect.

Being from Sudbury, the references and inside jokes about the city, made me appreciate it more. Knowing where everything was filmed is pretty cool.

Aside from the guy that played Sanguinet, who was a bad actor, the cast was perfect.
