Ottawa police have arrested a man who crossed police tape near the National War Memorial while Prime Minister Stephen Harper was preparing to lay a wreath this morning in honour of the soldier killed in yesterday's shootings.

No shots were fired during the arrest Thursday.

That's two guys that wanted to leave Canada to fight in Syria/Iraq. But they weren't allowed to go. So now we have two dead soldiers and mourning families. Great strategy by our Government! If they want to go to that hell hole and die, why stop them? Especially if you aren't going to do anything to them here in Canada. Keep the radicals and their hatred over there, not on our soil.

because they will go and get trained in the skill of warfare...perhaps even bomb creation and then potentially return here (to NA) where they will be even more dangerous. What needs to happen id=s that these individuals need to be sought out and isolated and then imprisoned.
