I got a new shooting pad for Christmas but it isn't nearly as slick as I would like. I tried some liquid wax that helped but not as much as I need. Anyone have any tips?

Edit: Found old workout video step thing that is the perfect height to simulate being on skates with no shoes on. Perfect for practicing stickhandling.

Try paste wax. Buff after each coat.

    Trying this now.

Edit: Works really well. I have to get a bottle, we only have wipes.
