Since he took over Leafs a good team in PP, PK, GF, GA, SF, SA.

What more do you need?

All we need is a back up and 2nd in the division is ours to lose.

We look WAY better under Keefe. Generating far better chances, controlling the puck beautifully, tones of unpredictable movement in the offensive zone. Defensively we’re still a work in progress, but significantly improved, doing a better job of protecting the middle of the ice, and limiting high danger chances against. Special teams look much, much better as well - more organized, and giving the minutes to the right players.

Overall extremely happy with the job he’s done so far. Keefe’s style is a perfect fit for this roster, while Babs’ style was a terrible fit, and he refused to adjust it.

Was some thought you wait for 10 games or so before starting to judge the team, the change itself clouds a good read, obviously expect an uptick. We are 12 games in now and are starting to get a good sense of Keefe's influence, beyond the temporary things like adrenaline and "fresh start".

Keefe is sculpting this team to accentuate our strengths, mitigate the weaknesses. We seem more situational in player deployment, who goes over the boards more fluid and not necessarily predictable. The PP time allotment is refreshing. Activating the D more is interesting, but it's the forward support that suggests good structural coaching.

We're still mentally fragile and have a tendency to be too passive in our own end, fall apart, but there are a lot of positive things happening and his measured commentary also seems a calming influence.

Feeling a lot better about this group moving forward, he deserves credit.

He definetely deserves credit, but it also helps when the players actually play. They obviously mailed it in under Babcock, and Babcock himself also mailed it in. He does have a fully healthy roster as well, and the benefit of playing Andersen every game. Getting Hyman back has been huge for this team. That being said, there is still work to do.

Everyone was freaking out here about 9 games ago. Sell the farm! Our stars suck!

Cowards. Should have emotionally committed to this team by doubling down when they were at their lowest.

It's hard to give 100% - even when you think you're working hard - when you've lost faith in the coach and the system.

I enjoyed his body of work in the OHL and with the Marlies, it was fun to see him make an adjustment after four shifts last night that just ate the Sabres lunch.

8-4 and showing improvements everywhere, even from game to game. We gave up some flukey goals in Calgary and folded. We gave up some rough goals last night to Buffalo and managed the two points. I look forward to where we'll be a week from now (hopefully skipping the whole 3g against in the third bit entirely. Keefe has been a breath of fresh air and the team is starting to look they have a shot at the playoffs. Make no mistake, there's still a few issues that need to be sorted out, such as 60 minute efforts, mental toughness, actual toughness, and defensive play, but now that we have decent coaching we can see those issues clearly and start working on addressing them.

13-7-3 with Marner 4-7 without. The results have more to do with the Leafs meal ticket being back.. not due to a coaching change.

Get your ears/eyes checked, the chant was FIRE THE COACH.

Pretty myopic to think it has to be one or the other.

This team has a long way to go still but we seem to be on the right track. I thought we were a top contender before the season started, I didn't realize just how much of a hindrance Babcock was. Hopefully now we have a shot to realize our potential and for me, the goal isn't winning a round, it's winning 4. If there's one thing we could really use (even more than a good backup IMO) it's someone with a ton of grit/sandpaper and I be willing to pay a lot to get the right guy. I'm not sure if Dubas feels the same way though so that's still a concern. Maybe I'm wrong, would love for Dubas to surprise me.

It might have been Mason Marchment that Dubas was looking for to provide grit, but he got hurt in training camp.
