Makes sense. Is there a 3rd A?

I actually expected 3A's, with Danault being the other.

I'm on the fence. I just don't see the need to name a C this fast. Probably a good move but what this means is they definitely don't want to trade Weber in the near futur.

The team needs good leadership for the kids, which Weber brings hands down, but he is a fine asset that could have brought back something very nice for a rebuild.

countdown till he is traded, 3 2 1....

Becoming the captain is almost the kiss of death LOL. At least Gionta managed to make it through without being traded.

Maybe someone could come up with a list of Habs captains that were traded during their captaincy???

I actually like going with 2. 3 to me always felt like they were diluting it/weren't sure who to definitively pick.

I woud normally say so myself, but with Weber missing a few months, well...

Plekanec not getting a A... I am starting to think the team dont believe he will be on the ice every game

Well, the team won't put him on the ice every game, so hopefully they don't believe he'll be on the ice every game :)
