Good thing they had all that size in the lineup..All, what, 2 minutes they played?

While Perron, Eberle, Hopkins, and Gagner were losing draws left and right all game long-- Arco and his one deficiency: size? Or Acton and his only plus-side which is that he's *not* small (he's still not big...or good at hockey, though).

Is it typical for your crowd to boo opposing players who are bleeding after your own player whacks him, quite obviously, in the face...?

I counted at least four times when Oiler players were lackadaiscally skating out of their zone, have their sticks lifted and the Sharks went the other way. That isn't effort whatsoever, this is a team to me which is no longer responding to the coaching. Some of the penalties they took were terrible, in particular the one by Perron.

LOL @ everyone saying Dubnyk played "descent" he was beaten about 10 times. Luck was on his side today in the form of the goal posts.

I waiting on a loss tomorrow to call the season officially a waste. Got to at least beat the flames.

Even game, we couldn't buy a break. Dubs has been ok, but, on quite a few shots that hit the post, he was beat. SJ back up goalie was still better.

They were pretty obviously upset that that was called, but the exact same thing that happened to Gordon minutes earlier wasn't.

I imagine the boos had to do with the refs missing Gordon catching the stick in the face and bleeding 10 minutes earlier.

Eh... ya they played a "little" better.

****** in the 1st where they basically gave the game away... then legitimately played better in the 2nd.

Still when they had the chance to push hard in the 3rd against a team that is in back to back games on the road... they failed to do enough yet again.

This game is just enough effort to let Eakins and MacT crow about improvements, progress and improved effort.

All a mirage imo as the results still speak for themselves. 1 goal in 4 home games. Last place in the NHL.

Start talking about improvements when they actually win a game or at least push a team and make them sweat to get a win against them.

Maybe because a blatant high stick to Gordon was ignored by the refs , but hey we can get a phantom 5 min major for a shoulder to shoulder check.

Perhaps you missed the high stick on Gordon, that is why the crowd was booing. He was cut as well and no call. Now run along please while we wallow in our crappy team's dead last standing.
