Drama in the stands. Some Oilers fans being escorted out, 1 flipping people off as he exits lol. There was some shoving, really distracting from the play haha. Anyone near Sec 122/124 that can provide insight?
Wtf? C'mon. Picking fights in Sharks territory as a visitor? That's f***ing dumb

Sharks are playing their most dominant hockey all season and keeping the goal count under 3 over the last 3 games. It really does help the narrative that Vlasic and Braun are underperforming. Sure, two of those teams are trash right now but Tampa is arguably the best team in the league.

I'd remove that word.

With the recent string of wins the sharks are now on pace for 105 points. That would have put them 2nd in the division last year and 10 points above the 2nd wild card spot. They need to keep it up and not get complacent just because the rest of the division is garbage.

I had oiler fans chirp me before the game talking about what happened last time we met in the playoffs. I just laughed at them. Hope they enjoy their flight home

The thing we have now is that we have two D-men who can completely dominate the game when they're on. If one is slumping, the other can take over.. We used to live and die by the Burns sword

I'm not a big T-Mac fan, but my goodness that team is terrible. Why do people constantly blame the coaches when the players play like junk on the ice? The Oilers are just so bad defensively...so much blown coverage and lazy plays. That is completely on the players...the culture is just wrong with that team.

Blame the GMs for making bad trades, but I don't think you can even blame them for the bad culture.

In New Jersey, Taylor Hall must be laughing his ass off.

I think a big part of their problem is they are trying to selectively excise tumors, but the cancer has already metastasized by then. They are going to have to burn that place to the ground before they can rebuild it without the issues spreading. If I was them, I'd keep McDavid, and that's it. I'd trade everyone else, bring in a few great leadership guys, and start from there. That team needs a veteran group that can help right the ship, keep everyone in line. Pavelski for instance would be a great pickup for that. He's still really talented (so will have respect from the younger guys) and is by all reports I've ever heard a fantastic leader and mentor.

Good luck selling the fans on that though, so this will just likely continue forever.

Can you imagine trying to sell that to McDavid? He wastes some his best years hoping that an incompetent management group can build a contender for him.

Heck, imagine how the league feels. Legitimate question...how much has it cost the league in growth because McDavid is not on a competitive team?

Maybe DW can get them in the dentist chair... Pull another Thornton trade. McDavid in teal. Pavs, Meier & Vlassic plus picks and prospects. That's how they rebuild their team.:sarcasm::laugh::laugh::laugh:
