Look at this awesome coverage on the Garland go ahead goal. So many fans blaming Karlsson for letting Garland in when he is expected to defend three Yotes while all other sharks skaters float and watch.

It was 30 games. It means enough. Not many 20-21 year old goalies are good even for that stretch of games in the KHL.

He wasn’t good for the 14 games this year, he had a .912 save percentage and there were over 30 goalies with better numbers than him.

They're talking about him like he's a franchise goalie lol

Who is they? Facebook Sharks pages?

It's quite telling that comms mentioned his performance for Russia in the U18s against Denmark.
I think the organisation sees him as a potential starter or strong back up, but I wouldn't say they see him as a franchise goalies.

Yeah I disagree considering the team he played on. I don’t care about thirty other goalies. I care about how he did. He did good for the team and situation he was in. He’s not competing with other goalies.

Sharks: 2pts out of a playoff spot, loses 8 straight

Also Sharks: eliminated from playoff contention, gets 3 out of 4 pts. vs Colorado and picks up a loser point vs ARZ when a top 4 pick is there for the taking.

This team is infuriating.

If it makes you feel better they should have had all 8 of those points but only got 4.

Randy said it on the broadcast. So someone within the org is saying that.

He said something similar about Ferraro (paraphrasing: "They drafted Mueller to get a #1 defenseman, it didn't work out, and they traded him for the pick that became Ferraro and got what they were looking for") So Ferraro = future #1D in their eyes. Again, another situation where they're overrating their guys.

The A's have been playing that mental gymnastics game for 20 years now. They are good at it, but still don't have the secret sauce for the postseason.

You mean they don’t have a Verlander type starter for their game 5’s??

White Sox didn’t have good enough starting pitching, which is why Oakland beat them last postseason. Houston’s starters were better which is why Oakland lost. The secret to playoff success in baseball isn’t complex.
