Agreed but I am not surprised. It is shortsighted to focus on the 3.00 GA/G and ignore the 1.14 GF/G. During that 7 game stretch, the Shark's couldn't even win the game where they gave up 0 goals during timed play, so it doesn't really matter if the opposition is scoring 3 goals or 1 goal when there is no goal support.
But yeah, its the defense that gave up 0 goals that drove that particular loss, because it was during a stretch where the Sharks GA/G was 3.00.
Did we ever see the list of 30 d-men who are better than Boyle and Burns?
