Sharks' season from hell continues: Karlsson out for rest of year

Karlsson is still a top 3 defenceman without a doubt. Offensively he's the best, defensively I'd put him top 10

Perhaps or the Sharks goalies might like not having to deal with garbage D and their goals against get way better

Seem to recall that that was in previous CBAs of the past.
The scheduling thing? Nope, it's never been in there. It's had stipulations on how long the season would be, when teams play their first/last game, mandatory off days and limits on when teams travel to/from locations, but it's never had anything like what I described.

Watch the Sharks go on a run and somehow make the playoffs. Wouldn't that be a story.

I could see them coming back next season and being in the playoffs again. Can also see them being near the bottom of the division. They're an interesting team

Having 26 million to Burns, Vlasic and Karlsson for the next 6 years when all will be in their 30s is definitely hit or miss. But all it really takes is for Burns and EK to come back and have monster years next season and you can't count them out.
