Yea I wasn't super into the idea midway through the season but it's pretty clear at this point that it's not just poor execution, the system itself is extremely flawed in regards to the breakout, the cycle, set plays, etc

idk we're at 45 points, 5OA is at 43, and Canucks at 41 points have 6 games in hand. Considering our 2-7-1 record in the last 10, i think we're locked in for, at best, a top 5 pick. We're not actively tanking and we're still pretty close to that top pick and it should only get worse next season.

I thought Pateryn was fairly solid in that department for a third pairing guy. Not great, but he made sure no one got away without a collision.
Some more wide bodies would be nice, on forward or defense.
