man i miss when meier would attack a puck. i hate watching him watch plays more than 6ft away from him.

Yea I wasn't super into the idea midway through the season but it's pretty clear at this point that it's not just poor execution, the system itself is extremely flawed in regards to the breakout, the cycle, set plays, etc

Yea I wasn't super into the idea midway through the season but it's pretty clear at this point that it's not just poor execution, the system itself is extremely flawed in regards to the breakout, the cycle, set plays, etc

The astonishing thing to me is just how bad the power play is and how we were promised a creative, effective power play run by an innovative coach.

This team really needs a crease-clearer.

I thought Pateryn was fairly solid in that department for a third pairing guy. Not great, but he made sure no one got away without a collision.
Some more wide bodies would be nice, on forward or defense.

i'll accept a toothless power play but what's particularly terrible about our power play is that we allow more dangerous chances against than we generate.
