Watched the game this morning. I really liked Karlsson (Erik) and Vlasic and Cooch and Labanc played great. Hertl wasn't bad. But our fourth line were not very good. I want Gregor back. Also Burns was not having very good game. But pleased that we won and now we are back in playoff hunt and everything is on our hands. Which feels good!

I love some of DLR with VH but even more his solo band with Vai and later Becker but Hagar is is 10 times the singer and lyricist. The song writing on Van Hagar stuff is just better IMO than the majority of of DLR Van Halen. That Montrose album was freakin great though. Hagar was like 17 or something when they recorded it.

If jones can play like that a little more they may steal a few more they shouldn't win. Great game by him and a handful of the skaters. That Vlassic EK65 pair is really starting to dominate (as they should).

We win one more, we will be at 500 hockey with 60 games remaining. After that, we just need to win six out of each ten remaining to lock us in to a playoff spot. (Ending season with roughly 98 points at 47-31-4). That should be enough for a non wild card slot. Anything less than 600 hockey now is going to leave our fate up to others. We need to keep playing better, and still should be adding.

Labanc is the streakiest player on the Sharks. First 5 games suck, next 10 games good, next 5 games suck. Then he has a 3 point night and dominates the whole game

How is EK playing lately?

Since Simek came back and Vlasic was moved onto his pairing they have been steadily improving together, and the last couple games they are starting to make the claim as best pairing in the NHL that they should have. It is hard to say how much of it is Vlasic and how much is EK, but the simple answer is he is in form.
