Thought it would be cool to have a thread that highlights some of the amazing, yet lesser known songs that we've come to love

Here are some of mine:

Only 1500 views for this!?!? Seriously?

Less than 20K for this one

This official music video has less than 80K

And a couple of nice tunes from John Lennon's son, Sean

El-P - Accidents Don't Happen (32k views, Hip-hop)

The Velvet Underground and Public Enemy?

I should've been more clear that this thread was just intended to showcase lesser known songs from lesser known bands

I don't really like anything that isn't already known and well received (not as much as the stuff that is, anyways), but this one isn't a household name and I think it's a masterpiece:

Charm (Over a Burundi Cloud) by Jon Hassell

20K, I guess, but I don't know how reliable a barometer of underappreciated Youtube views are

The most obscure great song ever wouldn't even have a You Tube video.

These guys are probably the biggest band out of Newfoundland(And no it's not typical Newfie music ). Just about everyone who's lived here or living here likely has heard a few songs by them.

They're one of my favorite bands in general. Getting the chance to see them live in about a month for the first time and I haven't been more excited to see a band live in a long time.

IMO it's pretty much the perfect power pop-rock song. Dude is basically an unknown with a view count like that. Crazy.

And continuing with the power pop theme: The Semantics - Future For You - 4693 views.

Multiple postings for this one, but collectively I think less than 30k views:

This is a long defunct local Burlington, Vermont band that ALMOST made it big in the 90s (got some regional airplay but couldn't get over the hump to national prominence). Amazingly got over 1500 views. Can't listen right now so not sure of the quality of the live video, but I have the album and I know the song's a good one (their best as far as I'm concerned, which unfortunately is probably why they never got over that hump). Apparently they actually came out with a new song a year or so ago, The Never Will Bes (since you can't really call them 'has beens' good title).
