I think Doan is in the perfect spot right now to learn from BA and JFJ.

The Coyotes really did a great job creating an opportunity for him that is a good blend of hockey ops and off-ice stuff.

I agree. Add the GM responsibilities for Hockey Canada to his job with the Coyotes and he is getting much valuable knowledge.

Yeah, it is a great thing for Doan and, to whatever extent, the Coyotes too. He could probably make a good GM someday, especially if this 'path' continues for him.
