After so many players were lost to graduation, the St. Louis Blues’ prospect pool looked, for the most part, drained. With a very strong draft last year, the St. Louis Blues have put together a very promising group of prospects at the junior level. Leading the charge is the doubled-headed dragon of Ivan Barbashev and Robby Fabbri, who have helped replenish the center depth in the Blues’ system.

That is a pretty good read. I would note a couple of kids that should also be followed:

Jaedon Descheneua - leads the Ice in points with 30 in 25 games. He has really turned it up lately - which has to do with Sam Reinhart returning to the lineup. 15 goals isn't something too overlook. He is bigger the Blais.

Dimitrii Sergeev has 15 points in 23 games, after 9 in 49 last year. We signed him as a free agent and unlike Edmonton and Trachev, we did the homework and made sure we were able to do so prior to bringing him to camp.

Is he? Descheneau is listed at 5'9 and Blais is listed at 6'1.

Based on what I saw in person, Blais is bigger. There's no way Descheneau is as tall as he is listed. He's tiny. Blais isn't 6'1 but he definitely looked taller than 5'9.
