NHL 19 Setting up Lines

Hi guys! I've recently started playing franchise mode and I was wondering what your philosophies are on setting up lines. Are there certain types that play better together than others? Also, do the coaching strategies matter if you sim?

I’m pretty traditional.

PWF/GRN with a SNP and a PLY/DNG.

On D, OFD with a TWD/DFD

That's what I was thinking as well. Right now I have a checker, playmaker, and sniper on my top 2 lines. Do you set your 3rd line or 4th line as the checking line. Thanks again!

I don't really focus on having a checking line persay, but moreso a few players that can round out the pk pairings, some guys with high physical stats (ideally at least 1 per line, and then 1-2 with good fighting skill sprinkled in). Then just play guys in their correct role and you should be fine.
