Ok, but Jones has been far and away our best defenseman throughout the whole year. It's not even close. Werenski is great and I'm elated to have both, but Jones is on another level.Anyway, in the games I've actually watched, Werenski has been the better player. But I'm guessing his stat line isn't as fancy, so I would guess people like yourself who only look at the spreadsheet don't see that.
I will say that Werenski is more impressive when comparing their first two years, so there's potential for hime to get to Jones' level, but at this moment Jones is 100% the better player.
