Seth Jones deserves Norris Trophy recognition

Anyway, in the games I've actually watched, Werenski has been the better player. But I'm guessing his stat line isn't as fancy, so I would guess people like yourself who only look at the spreadsheet don't see that.

Ok, but Jones has been far and away our best defenseman throughout the whole year. It's not even close. Werenski is great and I'm elated to have both, but Jones is on another level.

I will say that Werenski is more impressive when comparing their first two years, so there's potential for hime to get to Jones' level, but at this moment Jones is 100% the better player.

after tonight's game, yeah, I am sold - kid belongs in the conversation. what a season he is having, just so smooth and calm out there, absolutely amazing to watch him play. 23 years old still...lol!!

Right now he is 12th in the Norris scoring race I can’t see him getting enough points to overtake Klingberg or Carlson

Leads D in goals and is better defensively then all but 2 or 3 that I'd say he's close with. I put little stock in assists. He should finish top 5 easily.

He's been tied or ahead for quite some time. What's scary is he still has some growth left.

And he's wearing the "A" full time now.
