Screw that Rags-worshipping moron.

I could do without his "fake praise".

He's an unabashed Rangers fan who doesn't like the Devils within context of the rivalry but I would disagree and say he's a very knowledgeable hockey fan and will always give the Devils their due.

Of course he hasn't sung our praises in six years because he was literally like 15 feet away from Henrique It's Over behind the glass and we've sucked since then.

Having Gio on that show now, who is pretty much a Devils fan, is awesome though.

Had to google to find out who that is 'cause for a split second, I was like "BRIAN GIONTA?!?!"

BTW, Jerry Recco is a 100000% Devils fan.

Gregg Giannotti is from Long Island but his first week on the air he talked about how he was a Marty fan growing up and how he became a de facto Devils fan as a result.

You could tell how stoked he was at the team piling up Ws down the stretch.

He sounded quite sincere and what he was saying is what I've thought. Tampa's talent is undeniable but at this moment they're vulnerable. But we HAVE to stay out of the penalty box.

That's the problem. We haven't won enough yet so he's doesn't feel threatened. If we start making noise he'll start hating on us, then will come the fluke run quips, then the "we have more fans brah" tirades etc. That's how it is with all Rags fans

Imagine the looks on their faces if we hit Cup #4 within 40 years of moving from Denver.

Edit: Sorry, **** them both. It's their turn to be golfing early and are irrelevant again. This is our time.

I think the same story from the regular season holds true.

Needs to be assertive. He has all the tools, I love his willingness to back check, in general plays a very good defensive game, but he can at times defer too much to his team mates. Or like that back neutral zone pass, be a little nonchalant.

Hopefully the playoffs encourage him to step his game up, it could be the spark which helps him take that next step.

He needs a catalyst to remind him that he will win most of his physical contact battles if he gets emotionally invested. Otherwise he’s prone to lapsing into defensive PZ mode where he is mobile and positionally sound but not dynamic or that creative. Hopefully one of the smaller players tries to hit him hard early and PZ gets the better of it.
