Then and there
When Italy was the most prestigious league in the World

Maradona Careca in Napoli
Platini and Boniek with Juve
The dutch contingent in Milan
German stars at Inter
Voller in Roma
those guys played more or less at the same time

Later Baggio at Juve, Savicevic with Milan - sooooooooooooo underrated - Batigoal with Fiorentina

The Milan derby with the Dutch big 3 vs the German big 3 was something; they ended up meeting each other in San Siro during the 1990 World Cup for some reason
(And its ironic that Argentina and Diego eliminated Italy in Napoli during the same WC- I'm starting to think the WC was scripted lol)

Good times

Honorable mention : The trio of Mancini-Vialli-Lombardo at Sampdoria

Maradona tried to incite hatred for Neapolitans against the Italy NT, claiming it was a northern Italy team, and they should support Argentina over Italy at the stadium because of him. But that didn't go down too well, Maradona miscalculated his influence over national pride. Italy still got way more support over Argentina, and club rivalries were put aside for that match.

What was he thinking, no way they would take club over NT

What the hell was de Ligt thinking there?

Martinez brings Inter level on the ensuing penalty.

Dybala offside rules out a Ronaldo goal. Still 1-1. Ronaldo has come super close to scoring 3 times already including one that hammered off the bar.

Beautiful first half. Juve deserves to be ahead in this game. Inter didn't do much yet it's 1-1. Both teams playing a high pressing game.

Too bad for Ronaldo's goal that was ruled offside. It was a beautiful play with Dybala.

I've still given up on Serie A, especially when you consider that the US deal with ESPN is as bad as the B/R one with the CL/Europa. But how has Ramsey been for Juve?

He's been very good the games he played. I expected him to start in this game.
