Sergei Zubov vs Shea Weber

I remember Zubov destroying us in the yearly 90s playoff series we would have against the Stars.

I think it's pretty close..... Weber already has more career goals than Zuby. And Zuby played in a higher scoring era than Webs, so his points will be higher. Of course Zubey was still better offensively though.

I know a lot of the advanced metrics don't particulary paint Weber in a great light but Zubov had a reputation as being not so great defensively especially early on in his career.

Zubov: 2.85 G/GP AVG
Weber: 2.82 G/GP AVG

The goals are now going up and Zubov got the dead puck ERA... it's basically tie as per goal scored per season

With that being said, Weber is currently my favorite player in the NHL but I think that Zubov is a better player overall, especially after what Hitchcock did with him in DAL
